Yesterday, we began reading, Pilgrims of Plimouth.

It's a bit above the kids' heads, but they like the illustrations, and I'm summarizing parts. Afterward, we talked about how big the Mayflower was and what living conditions were like, etc. They then did a "relief" art project of the ship (with toilet paper sails and bamboo wallpaper remnant "wood").
This morning, I mentioned that we could look for some pinecones at the park, since today is "Park Day." I wanted them for a Christmas project. (More on that later!).
The Boy said, "Aren't we learning about programs anymore?"
Me: Programs?
The Boy: Yeah, Programs. You know, those people who got on that big boat to worship the Lord ...
SO, yes, son, we're still studying "programs."
